From Warren, KD4GUA:
This Sunday we will briefly mention DMSO and
then shift to the 200th anniversary of John Snow's birth--he is the one who
diagnosed Cholera in London and traced it to a watering pump in the Soho in
1850. It wasn't until 1883 that Koch and Louis Pasteur introduced the germ
theory--just think of getting sick in the early 19th Century--with no
antibiotics! Cholera was a big killer and they thought it was caused by
bad smelly air! (which it was in a way!). Tune in and bring your
"NUMB NOSE".,,,,,and remember, "Growing old is mandatory, growing wise is
optional."
