This Sunday we will discuss "Electronic Medical Records."  The young are trying to teach old dogs new tricks and are running into a generation gap of about 17 years.   The advantages and disadvantages including increased liability will be discussed.  Take your aspirin prior to listening.  It should be great FUN !

This Sunday we will discuss a group of newsworthy events which will include:1.  Alzheimer diagnosis possible with new amyloid scan (the chemical alone costs $1,000); 2. Male Fertility Test in Stores (why not trial and error?;)   3.  "Once a year Pap test no longer necessary;" and 4.  "The Robots are coming to Hospitals."   (Although the military is scaling them back!).  Tune in, should be fun.

 Bill KC9CS has a 6-year old grandchild who has SUDDENLY come down with a new disorder probably brought on by the reluctance of physicians to use antibiotics in children's URI infections.  This is manifest OVERNIGHT as an ACUTE obsessive-compulsive disorder that is thought to be an autoimmune reaction to the streptococcus. 

     It is suggested that you look up"PANDAS" on the internet prior to the program.  Do not confuse this with the teddy bear--it is a real problem that we will probably see more of in the future--keep on the cutting edge by tuning in.   Keep the blue side up.
