From Warren, KD4GUA:
This Sunday we will discuss "THE HISTORY OF ANESTHESIA."
BASICALLY THERE were THREE TYPES OF ANESTHESIA. First there
was vocal anesthesia where you tell the patient "It won't hurt." Then
there was local anesthesia where you inject around the object with a
numb--er." Finally, there was "Bulgarian Anesthesia" where you hit
the fellow on the head with a hammer! Vocal, Local and
Bulgarian!
Just think about what it was like back during the Revolution when
all they had was alcohol and vocal and Bulgarian types.
Tune in, should be fun.....
